About the book
Born with Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome, Carla Sosenko has lived in an unconventional body—marked by asymmetry, surgeries, and years of self-scrutiny. In this candid, funny memoir, she explores how her differences have shaped her self-image, relationships, career, and mental health. From childhood liposuction to adult battles with diet culture and Ozempic, Sosenko reflects on identity, resilience, and reclaiming space. Not quite disabled, yet not quite typical, she navigates the contradictions of fatphobia and pretty privilege. I'LL LOOK SO HOT IN A COFFIN is a fierce, honest call for embracing what sets us apart—and finding power in our own skin.
