EAT (LIKE) THE RICH

Olivia Tiedemann, the chef and wildly popular creator known for her sharp humor, irreverent style, and uncompromising approach to cooking, makes her highly anticipated cookbook debut with EAT (LIKE) THE RICH.

With millions of followers drawn to her distinct voice, confident presence, and seriously good food, Tiedemann has built a loyal audience without ever formally sharing her recipes—until now.

Let's get one thing out of the way: this is not a chef book. In EAT (LIKE) THE RICH, Tiedemann draws on her experience as both a restaurant chef and a private cook for high-end clients to show home cooks how to make food that tastes expensive quickly, confidently, and without overcomplicating it. The recipes look impressive, taste even better, and are designed to be achievable for cooks at any level. She cuts straight to what matters: technique, ingredients, and when to keep things simple.

With her signature directness (and plenty of opinions), she breaks down foundational skills like how to make a proper French omelet, fix bland food, and how to whip cream instead of wrecking an arm (hint: a blender), and what high-quality ingredients and brands are non-negotiable. Disagree with her recommendations? Well, too bad. The goal isn't perfection; it's about cooking food at home that's really, really good.

The book features more than 75 recipes designed to deliver high-impact flavor without unnecessary steps, alongside candid guidance on what tools home cooks actually need, which ingredients are worth the investment, and what to stop buying altogether.

Recipe highlights include:

  • Breakfast Quesadillas with Corn Salsa
  • Psychosis Crab Cakes
  • Steak Sandwiches with Peppers, Onions, and Provolone Whiz
  • Summer Lobster Salad
  • Nonna's Nightmare Short Rib Lasagna
  • Not Your Grandma's Chicken Parm
  • Seared Ribeye with Charred Scallion Chimichurri and Perfect Roasted Potatoes
  • Pan-Seared Branzino with Brown Butter Parsnip Purée and Apple Pomegranate Vierge

With Tiedemann's distinctive blend of humor and no-nonsense instruction (and, yes, excellent music taste), EAT (LIKE) THE RICH equips home cooks with the skills and confidence to cook better food whenever they want.
