Join the talented writers of this year's Kirkshop for a celebration and a reading on Thursday, June 5, 7 p.m. The Kirkshop is a nine-month fiction workshop for writers who are working on novels and story collections. We meet every Monday night—from September 2024 to June 2025—and discuss the submissions of the writers as well as reading and discussing recent books with various visiting authors. (This year's visitors included Bret Anthony Johnston, Jonathan Escoffery, Marie-Helene Bertino, and Dinaw Mengestu.)
Each year, we conclude our nine months together with this celebration. Readers will include: Katarina Brown, Michael Deere Meg Jerit, Sergio Muro, Victoria Rossi, Antonio Ruiz-Camacho, Hailey Herzik Ryan, Nouri Zarrugh, and James Zhu. Delicious cake will be served!
